I am a freshwater fisherman who has been out in my boat thousands of times over the course of my career. I was looking for a reel that could withstand heavy wear and tear and I found it with the Pflueger Supreme Spinning Reel. Virtually indestructible and containing quality innards, this reel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Lightweight and smooth, I have nothing negative to say about this quality reel.

I had read a lot about the Supreme before ever seeing one up close. I was taken aback by how sleek it looked. Made from magnesium and trimmed in gold, the Supreme ranks high in appearance by being a 4 on a 1 to 5 scale.

Performing up to my own personal standards, the Supreme is easy to cast and retrieve. Its anti-twist titanium line roller keeps things neat and from being gnarly early into a trip. Performance gets a gold star and a rating of 4 from me.

Costing a little more than other reels in my collection, the Pflueger Supreme combines quality with convenience which is worth all of the money in the world to me. 3.5 for price.
Features are certainly one thing this reel doesn’t lack. Generous in what it says it will do, the Supreme combines ingenuity with practicality to create a sensible yet remarkable product. 4.5 for the company’s generosity.
